3. I went to Computer Science UI because my mom won’t let me go to FSRD Bandung. I never regret going for computer science because it made my career and my current way of life.
4. I am a businessman by heart, which is why I quit a lot from previous corporate full-time jobs.
5. I can’t play any musical instrument and doesn’t really understand music, but I’m an easy listener.
6. I work from home, I set up a nice office at home so that I can concentrate better and because I HATE THE TRAFFIC IN JAKARTA!
7. I am a casual gamer, I have loads of games and gaming consoles for the sake of having it Haven’t touch my Wii in months, DS in a month or 2 and I finally sold my PSP.
8. I don’t really like programming, I just love the thrill of solving problems and yes, I’m good at it.
9. I am an Apple and Nintendo fanboy. Guess that’s quite obvious when you look at my gadgets.
10. People say I look a lot like Marcel, Sammy of Keris Patih and Bams of Samsons. Don’t really know why.

More on the personal note, I broke up with my girlfriend about a week ago. Yes, I’m okay and would not go desperate this time, well actually I did, but it’s already in the past As to why we broke up, let’s keep that to a close-friend base now shall we It’s been 4 years of such a blast, wouldn’t do it any other way with you girl!

So what’s next? Well I don’t know what else to write on this blog since I put all my creative thoughts on ruangfreelance.com (part of arusmedia.com) and I have another anonymous blog as a source of my personal vendetta-filling agenda (nyihihihi). So yeah, I’ll probably be hiatus. Will think about what to write here, but will not be constantly doing it. Busy busy

So once again, wish me luck on 2009. Plans are made, and all is set! Ganbatte yosh!

On an e-commerce site, my first question would be: Could you ship it to my county? And no, most sites doesn’t live giving this info. More often that not, I need to ask them personally and thus I would need to wait for about a day or two, sometimes no reply is in order +sigh+. By the time i receive the information by email, I’m so not in the mood to shop anymore. Yes I am willing to shop are your store, but I need to know if you can ship it to me!

When I’m on any site, i would definitely need to know what site it is by looking at it for about 4 seconds or so. If not? then the site fails it’s purpose. Yes, websites can contain lots and lots of information, but that doesn’t mean you need to cramped it all there.. be creative, or hire a worthy web designer.

Kemarin saya dikontak oleh Anggi Krisna dari icreativelabs untuk membahas bisnis baru (more on this later), dan juga membahas tentang ruangfreelance.com, dia meminta saya untuk menjadi kontributor disana. Sebenarnya dari dulu saya sudah ingin membuat blog seperti ini, tapi tidak kesampaian karena sibuk dengan kerjaan sendiri. Senang rasanya karena sudah ada inisiatif untuk membuat blog seperti ini, dan mengundang saya untuk berkontribusi. Oh iya, ruangfreelance sebenarnya baru akan launching senin depan, dan saya harus membuat satu artikel untuk hari senin, ada ide? Butuh pencerahan ni.

Thank you for praba, bule, dece that congratulate me at 00:12 at Indogaya, icha, memet, tante didin, yoga buat sms pagi buta sampe pagi hari, wahyu yang lupa ama ultah gw sampe dan baru sms setelah gw kasih tau, babeh yang gw kira mo nyelametin gw ternyata mengucapkan met idul fitri, arif yang nelpon nanyain makan teppanyaki dimana trus sembari nyelametin ultah, nyokap yang ngesms ultah instead of bangunin buat nyelametin, dan tentu saja last minute sms dari ninuk dan carol. Oh iya thx juga buat yang ngucapin via plurk dan facebook. Dan yang terakhir untuk Ndari yang udah ngaturin makan2 di dapur sunda dan nyipain kado yang super kreatif (tuh de kasih! :D), love you beib!

And so I plugged everything in, the power cable, the modem to router via ethernet cable, and also the cable from my laptop to my router (no wifi yet because i want to check the wired connection first).

The CD came with an easy installer for the Mac OS X! So happy that apple users are not forgotten. The good thing is, I just put the CD, it starts up an easy installer, click next, put my desired wifi name and the installer does all the settings! Such a happy user I am.

Although it was easy to do the settings with the easy installer, it does not set your router password, and also the wifi password. To set this, you can go to http://192.168.2.1 (this is the default IP for administration). Go to the appropriate menu for further settings (see picture below).

For the wireless security, I use the settings like in the picture below (it’s the default :D)
