Aria Rajasa’s Blog

So many changes had happened this year, especially in the last months, it’s quite shocking really and most of it is pretty much beyond me, and yet with all that has happened.. All the things that I wished for last year came to reality. God really have a funny way of showing that He cared for us. Let’s review shall we!

1. The rise of Arusmedia

I got asked by Kuswanto and Anggi to join in at October, we talked a lot of things and decided to go along with the idea of making the first indonesian blogging network. We really have high hopes for this company and bigger plans are in preparation for 2009. Read all about it here.

2. The fall of PT. Rajasa Grafika

It’s been one hell of a ride, but it has to stop somewhere. For PT. Rajasa Grafika, now is the time. I have been throwing my bones (baca: banting tulang) for this past 3 years and it’s been fun for all of us. There are good times and hard times but we stood our grounds until now. This is just a stepping stone for me and now it’s time to move on. I’ve collected the money I need to invest on bigger things, and my colleagues are also moving on with bigger jobs. Ganbatte for all of you! I will always wish you all the best.

Don’t get me wrong, Rajasa Web and Graphics will still go on. Just not with any PT backing it up. You know what that means? I’m a full-time freelancer! Yippie! I still love web designing and will continue doing it to a certain point.

Now, I’ve made great things with Rajasa Web and Graphics from nothing. Let’s see what I can do with this load of cash

3. The partnership with Tulakom

Since I’m a full-time freelancer, it would be a great idea to team up with somebody. What better choice is there than with one of the best of the best in indonesian web design world: Satya Witoelar of Tulakom. I’ve asked whether he’s interested on my skills and would consider me working under him at Tulakom and guess what? He wants me to be his partner! Wow, it is a great honor for me to be his partner since I’ve looked up to him these past years. I’ve worked with him a couple of times in the past so I know it would be very interesting to be by his side next year

Rajasa is an official partner of Tulakom. Had a nice ring to it

4. More businesses to come

There are other things that I can’t disclose yet, but it’s a collaboration project between Ollie & Anang, Anggi & Agus and myself that’s focusing on art and clothing. Will be looking forward on the beta release in February 2009 I won’t stop here, I would definitely want to have more and more businesses to come. Wish me luck as I’m making bolder moves every year XD

5. New love

Hm… let’s keep this between close friends shall we

So yeah, a lot has change and I’m proud of myself to be able to experience all of that. I’ve learned a lot, lost a lot and gain a lot and I believe all of that makes me a better man.

In conclusion, I’m officially starting my second milestone. The first is PT. Rajasa Grafika and the second is this. The next one would be 5 years from now What can I do in 5 years? I.. personally don’t know, but it would definitely be as much fun (if not more) as this year.

God have a very peculiar way of running things, but I believe that everything that has happened is what’s best for me.
