I just bought myself a k800i because I wanted to go back to Sony Ericsson (Why? because Nokia never really understand me). But there are things that don’t work with my Powerbook, it is not supported by iSync and i can’t use iTunes to put my mp3 in it. Well I google for a bit and found these interesting links:
I guess that solved the problems
Updated:
It seems that in apple’s iSync compatibility list, k800i is in it.. wonder why it won’t sync (and yes, I’m using iSync 2.4).
Owh, if you’re wondering what’s the difference between K800i and and K810i, check this out. Anybody can tell me the difference between K800i and K800?

November 2nd, 2007 at 1:47 amHow is your K800i not supported by iSync? I hacked the built in K800i support from Tiger to get it to work with my K810i in both Tiger and Leopard. K800i has always been fully supported since Tiger.

November 2nd, 2007 at 1:54 ami dunno, it sez it won’t add the device, the guide sez it’s modified from k790, not k800.
And why would there be a separate plugin if it’s supported natively?
It’s listed on apple’s isync compatibillity list but it won’t work without the plugin.. and yes, i use iSync 2.4

November 2nd, 2007 at 4:38 pmDude, are you delirious? Your link pointed to K800 vs K810. Not K800i and K800. The differences apart from physical are software version, photo fix feature, and 3.2MP camera on K810 and 2.0MP camera on K800.

November 3rd, 2007 at 4:58 amThe i is to differentiate it from the c variant which is for china. By that logic, it stands to reason the K800i is the international version.
