I’ve posted on earlier date that ActiveCollab is advancing with $2000 price plan. Well, they’ve updated the price plan to $99 yearly plan, which is a good thing.

But what’s more interesting is the fork projects of activecollab that want to keep it free, namely:

I’ve tested them both and I believe they are still in the phase of rebranding. No additional feature up until now but I will be expecting more results from the community. For me? I’m sticking with activecollab 0.7.1 for now.

Let’s just hope the spirit of open source stays ignited! :P

    Hello Kuy,
just to let you know that currently OpenGoo [http://www.opengoo.org] has added document , spreadsheet, and presentation editors. All these features are currently in alfa stage, but the ‘rebranding phase’ is definitely finished, and we are working in new features and improved the UI.
    See you around,
    Marcos
