It’s been so long that I plan to set up Internet Connection in my home. Mostly because with Internet, I could work at home and would only go to my office for meetings or if deem necessary. So Speedy comes in mind, but with all the commotion about it being a bad service (which I believe so), I hesitated.
In my search for Speedy infos, I stumble upon Bill Suhaedy’s Website. There he wrote a pretty decent guide on how to start using Speedy. He depicted what modem to use, what series and type, his first time experiences and quite a lot of useful information. Maybe you’re wondering why the hell do we need a guide for Speedy? Well, trust me.. you’ll need it.

Luckily, my Telkom-technician was selling PROLINK modem, which is quite good. My ordinary problem is that once you turn it on, first it will be connected, then disconnected, then connected again. I don’t why but it always happen that way. about the speed, well you know I read many at my own Telkom Speedy review

that’s strange .. gw dapet-nya aztech .. dan sampe sekarang berjalan dengan sangat baik .. it’s actually a _very_ small linux pc .. from what I know, the problem with telkom’s speedy is on the end point .. telkom uses many types of ADSL technology at it’s end .. so your experience with speedy depends on which vendor they use on your premises ..

Betul cun, kalau kondisi network wilayah lu kurang baik. Efeknya koneksi akan tersendat-sendat, dan itulah yang mengakibatkan modem jadi beraktivitas kurang baik.

Setuju dengan acun. Speedy saya menggunakan Aztech ADSL 600EU dari November 2006 sampai sekarang Juli 2007 baik-baik saja. Tidak ada gangguan yang membuat saya stress. April kemarin saya malah upgrade ke langganan unlimited.
Mungkin tergantung wilayah DIVRE-nya ya. Saya di Surabaya, wilayah DIVRE V. Sedangkan keluhan-keluhan yang sering muncul di internet berasal dari pelanggan di Jakarta, wilayah DIVRE II.

@kuy, saat ini layanan speedy makin membaik koq kuy, kalo mau daftar lagi ada promo neh
@all, saya pernah membantu instalasi beberapa modem dengan merek berbeda seperti prolink, linksys, aztech, dlink, dan merek2x tidak terkenal yang tidak saya ingat, masalah yang sering ditemui adalah lebih ke arah tidak stabilnya koneksi untuk tersambung ke telkom speedy, dan pada beberapa kasus modem2x yang lebih murah sering kali kurang handal untuk putus sambung koneksi.

Mau tanya tentang modem aztech model DSL605EU, apa yang menyebabkan lampu ethernet mati,walaupun kabelnya sudah diganti,sekarang saya pakai kabel USB.
Modem apa yang paling bagus menurut anda untuk speedy?
