Google has done it again! After beating everyone else on their own game, it’s now the time for flickr to be worried. Picasa Web Album is basically, well.. a web photo album. It has all the basic web album features like album categorizing, thumbnail view, slideshow etc and more!
What I love about google is the way they present things by noticing the small details to the account (more of like Apple). Photo albums can be uploaded with a single button and go directly to the server. But as you know it, Picasa is Windows only application but worry not! Google didn’t dissapoint me on this one, they created a stand-alone application to upload albums directly. Now isn’t that sweet. To add things up, they also created a plugin for iPhoto to export directly. Love you google!!
So what else can Picasa Web Album could give? well, the overall layout strongly reminds me of Yahoo! Photos with additional ajax components and thus gives a better performance like faster change of pictures, and navigation.
Maybe it still lacks of features like flickr, but having an uploader and making things easier does surely took my heart

kuy apa bedanya picasa web album ama gfoto? sama2 photo album pny google kan, gw dah ada gfoto tapi mgkn kalo picasa web lbh menarik mo upload foto2 disitu aja. tolong dijelaskan pak
