When I recently got back to my parents’ house for some marriage thing (no, not mine), I saw my mom reading book entitled “How to create and use emails”. Okay.. that sounded weird for me because I don’t think it’s that hard to do. But then again, maybe not all of us think like that.

Out of the curiosity, I spoke to her about it and why would she think that a book is needed to learn how to email. She told be bluntly that She didn’t know where else to look. Hm.. As an IT Evangelist (excluding the word that starts with an M and ruins us all) I find it obligatory to take care of that. So let’s see what we can do about it.

First of all, I’m thinking basics. How about we make a blog that discuss how to use the internet properly, I was thinking of using Bahasa Indonesia because we are teaching Indonesians here and well.. not all of us use English frequently.

I was thinking of putting things like how to use email which includes the features comparisons of the current free providers, then going on to how to share files in the internet which includes photos, musics, etc. Moreover, how about where to look for what like where to look for freewares, free music (not copyrighted ones), videos (again, not copyrighted ones) and more. I think that would really be a big favor for people that is new to the Internet. People like my mom and dad, and maybe your mom and dad, grandpa and grandma, or your kids and grandkids.

This is just ideas, I’m still developing a plan for it and still looking for someone to fill the articles. It won’t be much if I am to be the only one filling it. I’ll start designing and maybe I’ll release it in a couple of weeks. For those of you wanting to help, do contact me.

Moreover, I’m thinking of gathering other C.E.Os still on their 20s and make a group on our own. Kinda like a media to share things and provide good network amongs youngsters. But that’s another idea to take care of..
