There’s a new web browser in town! and the name is Flock. I don’t really understand why people keep on making new browsers, and to the fact that this new one uses the same engine as Firefox. But then again I don’t really have anything to do today (thank God!) so I might as well check it out

From the looks of it, it has a very nice interface. Better than the one I’ve tried before like camino or Firefox. But then again, looks ain’t everything . And so I’ve come to search the unique features. Let’s see, it integrate to Blogs (Wordpress, MovableType, etc), Photo Accounts (Flickr and PhotoBucket), and RSS Feeder. Quite nice.. but not as much as I want to.

Like for example, I’m writing this with the Flock blog engine and the thing is.. I can’t put any pictures! Well, it is said that I could but.. I need to have a Flickr or a Photobucket account. In which I don’t have. And there’s no option for using the Wordpress image uploading system (in which Qumana and Marsedit has) and really.. I’m quite dissapointed.

And the RSS Feeder, hm.. let’s see. It has a nice interface, but the rss feeder as on the same tab as the other pages.. In which (well, in my opinion) very well be confusing.. Opera does this better I guess.

How about the photo sharing integration? Well, I don’t have a Flickr account so I can’t test it. But in overall, It’s not worth it. It’s still a beta though so it has potentials. We’ll see..
